| | | I've been exhibiting art since 2004 in local art organizations such as
Silicon Valley Open Studio, the Los Gatos juried shows, Pacific Art
League, and other business locations.
Art came to me in my later 30's. By then, the most formidable years had passed me by, so I took
my sweet time in getting to know art. I enjoyed drawing and painting the figure most
of all. I believed that talent had nothing to do with a good
drawing if the model is inspirational. A greater power is at
work, not me.
Recently,
life lessons came in the most unflattering light. To remedy my
misery, I started painting abstracts. Each has been emotional
self-portraits documenting my efforts to regain peace, balance and
spirituality. As long as I am vigilant in putting in my time to
paint, my well-being is kept in check. And slowly, things are
alright with the world again.
I'm gradually back to making and
exhibiting art and hope to continue to create and explore all the
discoveries life has to offer.
